Terms of Service

Use of Guard Tunnel, henceforth referred to as "GT", software and the service provided by GT, is subject to the notices, terms, and conditions set forth below. We may regularly amend these notices, terms and conditions at any time without prior notice by posting new or revised terms of use policies and other documents on the GT web site. It is important for you to check this and other terms and conditions related to use of GT and other GT products and services from time to time. PLEASE READ THESE TERMS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THE GT WEB SITE. USE OF GT SERVICES CONSTITUTES THE END USER'S ACCEPTANCE OF ALL SUCH NOTICES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

GT is provided "as-is" and "as-available" with no guarantees for quality or performance of the service. GT or certain features may not work properly on a user's computer or network, and GT is to be used completely at the user's own risk. All costs incurred by use of hardware, software, service, and other costs to connect to GT are to be payed by the end user. GT reserves the right to modify or completely disable access to the service to anybody for any or no reason temporarily or permanently. The end user agrees that GT will not be liable to the end user or to any third party for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of GT or access to GT.

GT may only be used for legal purposes. GT allows access to any website on the internet, barring any technical issues, similarly to that of an internet service provider. It is the end user's responsibility to use GT and all associated services in a manner that complies with United States laws, as well as the laws local to the end user. The users of GT and GT services will be held completely responsibly for any consequences as a result of improper or illegal use of the service, not the owners or operators. GT reserves the right to comply with appropriate law enforcement agencies regarding any activities occurring on GT, suspicious or not, that may violate any law enforceable in the jurisdiction of the United States.

GT and the service is run on a server with limited resources (disk space, bandwidth, RAM, etc.). To better the end user experience, any users found abusing the system in an attempt to use up a large portion of the resources will be barred from further use of GT. Examples of behavior that is not permitted include unnecessary repeat requests, hotlinking to any file on the server, hotlinking to proxified pages (pages accessed on browse.php), or any other action that would cause excessive resource usage or load on the server that an average user would not use.
